When Conveniences Converge...
Home automation combines convenience, comfort, energy efficiency and security. It’s about centralized control of all your electrical and electronic systems. And who better to integrate your lighting, heating, air conditioning, appliances, entertainment and security systems than the person who understands your home’s electrical lifeblood? |
We encourage home automation because it simplifies things.
It’s also more aesthetically pleasing. It eliminates many traditional wall controls and other fixtures. When you walk in a room, do you want twelve switch plates around the walls? Or just one panel with a few buttons?

You might have kids—or medical challenges.
If you're trying to leave the house, you can walk around switching off everything the kids leave on. But how great to go to one panel where it can all be done in a second? Or, what if someone in your home has trouble getting around? One of our clients has a bad knee, and has trouble walking down stairs. If she can just stay upstairs and push one button to turn off all the downstairs lights, that’s a huge plus for her.

Automation brings things alive for home—or business.
One client said to us, "When we walk in, we want the lights to turn on, and we want the music to play." And that requires an automation system. But to get the most value out of the system, we suggested also integrating the security system, the security cameras and the climate control. They loved the idea. Now, they walk in. The lights kick on. The music turns on. The music is set at a comfortable level. The space is immediately alive and ready for business. This can be done anywhere—home, office, restaurant, retail, anyplace.
|
We also recognize that home automation isn't for everyone.
For someone who doesn’t want any electronics beyond maybe an audio/video system, there's not much point. Put the money into something else—or just save it.
